How to participate in ARTIST

ARTIST Contemporary Art Fair, held in Madrid from  February 26 to March 1 - 2020, is aimed at artists, galleries and collectives working with painting, sculpture, drawing, original graphic work, photography, digital art and other visual arts. If you are interested in participating as an exhibitor, you must fill in the registration form (until December 17, 2019), then the Artistic Selection Committee appointed by the ARTIST organisation will evaluate your submission and decide on its suitability to take part in the event. At the end of the evaluation process, we will inform you within 24–48 hours if your submission has been accepted.

If you are accepted, we will then contact you to formalise the exhibitor contract. In the Artist Information Pack you will find all the details and conditions required to exhibit at ARTIST.

Due to the great interest that ARTIST has generated, exceeding during the initial call the number of exhibitors expected, we have decided to grow and place the Fair in a space with greater exhibition area (1200 m2), which has allowed us to increase the capacity to 100 exhibitors and extend the new call until December 17, 2019

What benefits do you get as an exhibitor?

For established artists and emerging talents: ARTIST offers a week in which thousands of people visit Madrid who are interested purely in ART (ARCO, Art-Madrid, JustMAD, ...), during which you will be able to display your works directly.

Sales will be made without intermediation or commissions. It will be a unique opportunity to get in contact with collectors, galleries, the general public as well as institutions or organisations interested in the acquisition of works. The exhibition space may be adapted according to specific needs and special requirements of the works to be exhibited – please consult.

The organisers are already working on and developing a communication campaign (both offline and online) so that the Fair becomes a success in terms of attendance and public recognition.

In addition, during the pre-Fair phase you will have our support for the selection of the works, their arrangement in your space, as well as the necessary advice for your "mise-en-scène".
